I remember this show as having dryer than dry humor. Terrifically funny, with Mendoza just standing there throwing out the one-liners and hitting a home run with every one. Again, one of those shows that came and went in the bat of an eye because they didn't satisfy the suits at the network with telephone number viewing figures. So long ago it's hard to remember the individual episodes but there was always a lot of friction between Mendoza and his teenage daughter and Mendoza and his boss. Even though it only ran for one season, it's a shame it isn't available in any form, just to see Mendoza doing his seemingly effortless schtick.
