This charming Spanish comedy, as its title implies, follows a special summer full of fun and mischief in a very interesting neighbourhood. Any movie with Marisa Paredes, Gabino Diego and Ana Alvarez, among the other colourful characters, has to be, at the very least, a pleasant experience. I just saw it again, 5 or 6 years after I first saw it, and still found it fresh and entertaining. Ms. Paredes is ageless, always beautiful, always classy. But the others who, since this film's release, have matured quite a bit, and positively I must add in every sense of the word, are a lot younger, and great to watch at the beginning of their now noteworthy careers. I recommend checking it out.
