Plot Summary

Stoney and Dave find a caveman (Link) trapped in ice, thaw him out, and show him around town. Although Link is slow to catch on to basic concepts of 20th century life, he has no trouble impressing all the girls and helping Stoney and Dave find the coolness they've been searching for. Trivia Pauly Shore was considered for the role of Link before the producers met Brendan Fraser and decided that he was better suited for the part. However, they liked Shore so much that they created the role of Stoney just for him. Most of Stoney's lines were ad-libbed by Shore because they were never in the original script. See more »
Goofs When Dave and Stoney first discover the block of ice Link is frozen in, Dave knocks on it and it makes a hollow noise. However, the block of ice should be completely solid and therefore, not sound hollow. See more »
