Xavier, a pharmacist, lives peacefully in bigamy with his two women, Carmen and Beatriz, but the harmony breaks down when they find he has another lover, Monique, a nightclub dancer.
Definitely this is not a brilliant movie. Actually it's nothing but a "deja vù" one. The story is common and the situations bring us nothing but will to stop watching this boring movie.
The casting is great. Antônio Fagundes is one of the best actors of Brazilian TV and theatre, but his acting here is not that good. Marieta Severo and Cláudia Jimenez, also two great stars in Brazil are funny in the film, just like Fagundes, but we have surely seen them in much better roles and performances. "O Corpo" is enjoyable if all you want is have fun together with friends and / or family. It is not really to be taken seriously.
My rate 5/10
