(at around 23 mins) During a sex scene, there's a drawing by Karen Greenlee, an actual necrophile. She worked as an apprentice embalmer and was arrested for stealing a hearse and interfering with a funeral. She also confessed to having sex with 20-40 corpses. She described herself as a "morgue rat" and considered necrophilia an addiction.

(at around 32 mins) The Sputnik Kino seen in the film first opened its doors in 1954, set in the Wedding district of Berlin, and originally called the Clou Lichtspiel Theater with 481 seats. 1982 it become the Maxim Kino then the Momo Kino. The first of July 1984 saw it renamed the Sputnik Kino with 320 seats. Later, seats were reduced to 290 and it ran both 16mm and 35mm projectors. Closed its doors for the last time circa 1998 - 1999.
