Watch: First Brief Clip from ‘Daredevil’ Season 2 Plus Motion Posters & More

“You know you’re one bad day away from being me.” It’s a relationship that’s maybe not unlike the Joker and Batman. “Daredevil” season two is only one week away and buried in a new IGN interview with stars Charlie Cox (Daredevil) and Jon Bernthal (The Punisher), the first clip from the follow-up season has been revealed. And while it’s brief, it does set up their schism that’s not unlike the two aforementioned rivals; an antagonist (the Punisher) who believes the hero is essentially on the same side of the vigilante coin, but doesn’t have the guts to take it all the way and admit who he really is. “I think you’re a half measure,” The Punisher says tauntingly. “I think you’re a man who can’t finish the job. I think you’re a coward.” Read More: Watch: Street Justice Takes A

Flashback: Salma Hayek's American Debut 20 Years Ago

Flashback: Salma Hayek's American Debut 20 Years Ago
You couldn't have known it then, but if you happened to be watching TV on October 10th, 1992, and flipped to HBO to catch their original series "Dream On," you were witnessing history.

The sassy Mexican guest star in the episode, who Martin (star Brian Benben) meets in an elevator and asks on a date, was none other than future Oscar-nominee Salma Hayek. It was her first major English-speaking role, after a smaller turn earlier in the year in the Carl Weathers crime drama "Street Justice," and you can tell even from this one episode that she, at age 26, had the goods to be a star.

Titled "Domestic Bliss," the episode sees sparks of romance fly between Martin and Hayek's character, Carmela, after some initial awkwardness on a long elevator ride. The twist here is that they get off on the same floor and then go to the same door

Hobo with a Shotgun Red Band Trailer

  • HeyUGuys
Bear in mind this is a red band clip therefore you probably don’t want to watch it if you’re squeamish! I got to see the movie at SXSW and it’s completely messed up but in a very good way. The movie uses insane violence but in a very comedic way keeping the audience entertained throughout. I guess you could liken it to The Grindhouse Style of movies in Planet Terror and Death Proof which if you’ve not seen, you simply must!

Hobo with a Shotgun stars Rutger Hauer, Gregory Smith, Robb Wells, Brian Downey, Molly Dunsworth and Nick Bateman.

Synopsis: A vigilante homeless man pulls into a new city and finds himself trapped in urban chaos, a city where crime rules and where the city’s crime boss reigns. Seeing an urban landscape filled with armed robbers, corrupt cops, abused prostitutes and even a pedophile Santa,

Hobo With A Shotgun gets a bloody nice new trailer

“Welcome to fuck town.” One of the many genius one-liners from the upcoming Hobo With A Shotgun, starring Rutger Hauer, which will arrive in UK cinemas later this year (22nd July). The film is written and directed by feature debuter Jason Eisener, and is based around one of the faux trailer from the 2007 Robert Rodriguez/ Quentin Tarantino double-bill Grindhouse.

This movie is getting some pretty good reviews folks, but boy is it bloody as hell.

Synopsis: A vigilante homeless man pulls into a new city and finds himself trapped in urban chaos, a city where crime rules and where the city’s crime boss reigns. Seeing an urban landscape filled with armed robbers, corrupt cops, abused prostitutes and even a pedophile Santa, the Hobo goes about bringing justice to the city the best way he knows how – with a 20-gauge shotgun. Mayhem ensues when he tries to make things better for the future generation.

A Very Red Band Trailer for Jason Eisener's Hobo with a Shotgun is Here!

Canadian director Jason Eisener is creating a new genre with his latest film, Hobo with a Shotgun. This violence-ploitation film now has a red band trailer, which is even more bloody than the one seen here (feature trailer Hwas). There are similarities between both of these film reels, but this latest one shows the demise of Santa Claus via shotgun blast and midnight robberies. This most recent clip also shows an ultra-bloody death by digger and Rutger Hauer, as the hobo, acting heroic, with a manhole cover wrapped around his neck, in comic fashion. Watch the gratuitous violence below, with this title releasing on video-on-demand April 1st and in theatres May 5th, through Magnolia Pictures.

The synopsis for Hobo with a Shotgun:

"A vigilante homeless man pulls into a new city and finds himself trapped in urban chaos, a city where crime rules and where the city's crime boss reigns.

Killer New Vintage Style One-Sheet Hobo With A Shotgun Poster

  • Horrorbid
If the Grindhouse was a seemingly quote "box office failure" how in God's name has nearly every faux trailer that appeared between Death Proof and Planet Terror being produced? We don't care what the answer is because it's happening and we couldn't be more excited. Feast on the brand new vintage style one-sheet poster for the film after the break...

Don't remember the faux trailer for Hobo With A Shotgun? Well, then chances are that's because you're not Canadian. The trailer mainly appeared almost excessively in the great white north. Lucky Kanuck's! Regardless the trailer was a huge success and Jason Eisener the mastermind behind the spoof got his chance to turn it into a full length film. Which will show at the Sundance Film Festival this coming year!

Now our friends at Magnet Releasing have bought the rights to distribute the film which will have a limited theaters release and an On-Demand showing.

‘Hobo With A Shotgun’ Finds A Distributor

Many of you will remember the short film Hobo With A Shotgun, directed by Jason Eisener which won the Grindhouse Trailer Contest put on by the SXSW Film Festival & Robert Rodriguez. It all began with an announcement on Ain’t It Cool News, about a contest that gave a three week deadline to come up with a “grindhouse” style trailer for a fake movie and would later appear in between Rodriguez’s Planet Terror and Tarantino’s Death Proof.

Well ever since the Dartmouth filmmakers’ (Jason Eisener, Robert Cotterill and John Davies) won the notorious Trailer Competition in Austin, they have become a favourite among fans of the gore-action-comedy genre garnering more than 500,000 Internet hits. After much anticipation, the talented trio was ready to give Hobo With A Shotgun feature-length treatment and officially announced their plans to do so when they screened their award winning short film Treevenge at the 2008 Fantasia Film Festival.
