Storyline

Marshall Teller's family moves to the small country town of Eerie, Indiana (Pop. 16,661). There, Marshall discovers that Eerie, as he puts it, "is the center of weirdness for the universe". Elvis lives there, so do a pair of twins who stay young by sleeping in Tupperware, and many other strange things. Each episode, Marshall and his friend Simon collect evidence about the creepy things that happen there. Written by Jonathan D. Parshall <jdp1981@netscape.net>

Marshall Teller: [intro voiceover for the first season shows] My name is Marshall Teller. I knew my new home town was going to be different from where I grew up in New Jersey, but this is ridiculous. Nobody believes me, but Eerie, Indiana is the center of weirdness for the entire planet. Item - Elvis lives on my paper route.
Old Elvis: [picking up newspaper in his bath robe] Thank you, little paper boy.
Marshall Teller: Item - Bigfoot eats out of my trash. Item - even man's best friend is weird.

They don't make em like this anymore.....
12 August 2002 | by EstellaSee all my reviews

My sister and I saw Eerie Indiana when it was first screened on UK TV. We became instant fans of this funny quirky show. It's a rare kind of kids programme in that it is one that adults can enjoy. My sister and I were 13 or so when it was first aired, and now at almost 23 we're still huge fans! It was repeated a few years ago, and we made sure we recorded them all. They don't seem to have aged a bit, and certanley are not 'childish' at all. Omri Katz is just brilliant (come out of retirment Omri!!) and Justin Shenkarow and Jason Marsden are fab too. I recommend this to anyone, kid or adult. A gem that they just don't make anymore.....
