Opening Crawl: In 1608, the explorer Luiz Torrez made landfall on the Pacific island of Tokabaru. He noted the people were "exceedingly handsome and the oldest seem as youth." Torres witnessed strange rituals presided over by a statue of a dog goddess. At these rituals, the Tokabarians drank a green liquid made from a sea anemone. they believed the dog was magic and the potion held the secret of eternal youth.
