Anil and Arjun Celebrate Mubarakan at the red carpet launch

The trailer for the long-awaited Mubarakan from director Anees Bazmee has been released, and the stars took to the red carpet to introduce it. Anil Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, Athiya Shetty and Ileana D’Cruz got into character by showing off their bhangra skills alongside colourful dhol players, and the cast sat down to reveal a little more about what the audience has in store.

The last time we saw Shilpa Shirodkar was 13 years ago in Gaja Gamini, the actress who was quite popular back in the 1980s and 90s with films like Khuda Gawah, Aankhen, Kishen Kanhaiya, Gopi-Kishan etc is ready to bounce back, though this time via the small screen. It is learnt that the 43 year old actress will soon be seen in the role of a domestic help in Zee TV's new show 'Ek Muthi Aasman'. In fact the show itself is said to be about domestic helps and deals with the trials and tribulations that domestic workers go through. The said show which features Shilpa is likely to go on air mid-August.

Shilpa Shirodkar back after 13 years, to make TV debut
Noida, July 29: After an extended break of 13 years, Bollywood actress Shilpa Shirodkar, who enjoyed popularity back in 1980s and 1990s, thanks to films like "Bhrashtachar" and "Kishen Kanhaiya", is ready to bounce back, albeit via the small screen route.

The 43-year-old makes an unconventional comeback with the role of a domestic help in Zee TV's new show "Ek Muthi Aasman". The show itself is about domestic helps.

"I'm glad that I'm making a comeback with a show that deals with such a strong subject," Shilpa told reporters here Monday.

"The TV show deals with the troubles and tribulations that domestic workers.
