Ant-Man And The Wasp Fan Theory Outlines Possible Ties To Avengers 4

Though Marvel’s 2018 slate is fast approaching its pint-sized finale with Ant-Man and the Wasp, there’s a real sense that the McU is building towards something truly special.

Not only is Captain Marvel locked in for early 2019, but Joe and Anthony Russo are deep into post-production on Avengers 4, an McU blockbuster that’s since been described as a “turning point” for the entire franchise. And that’s not a phrase to be taken lightly, what with those rumors of time travel and alternate timelines.

But how does Ant-Man and the Wasp fit into all this? Well, over on YouTube, Webhead has composed a new fan theory which outlines some of the ways in which Peyton Reed’s sequel helps bridge the gap between Infinity War and its untitled sequel. And it may well herald a cameo from Hawkeye.

Essentially, the crux of the theory revolves around an Interstellar-esque scenario

Epic Ant-Man And The Wasp Promo Art Scurries Online

We are, at the time of writing, little over six weeks out from the launch of Ant-Man and the Wasp, and after the remarkably bleak finale to Infinity War, we could all do with a Marvel palate cleanser to bring some much-needed levity to the McU.

Leave it to Peyton Reed and Co., then, to serve up a comedic sequel bursting with personality and fresh ideas, all of which revolve around Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lilly’s tiny, titular heroes. They’ll be coming up against old friends and new enemies this summer, including the elusive Ghost, a sneaky antagonist played by the so-hot-right-now Hannah John-Kamen.

And much like Yellowjacket before her, Ghost gains her powers by manipulating Pym technologies and using it for nefarious means. She’s shaping up to be a pretty formidable foe, too, what with her ability to move through solid objects on a whim. All of this (and more!

Check Out The "Crime Fighters" TV Spot For Ant-man And The Wasp

Marvel has released the first TV spot for Ant-Man and The Wasp and it offers up a bit of new footage of the crime-fighting duo in action. This movie looks like it's going to be a lot of fun and I think that's exactly what Marvel fans need after Avengers: Infinity War, which was a pretty heavy movie.

I liked what I've seen from Ant-Man and The Wasp and I especially like what they have done with the Ghost villain. She's going to put up quite a fight!

From the Marvel Cinematic Universe comes a new chapter featuring heroes with the astonishing ability to shrink: “Ant-Man and The Wasp.” In the aftermath of “Captain America: Civil War,” Scott Lang grapples with the consequences of his choices as both a Super Hero and a father. As he struggles to rebalance his home life with his responsibilities as Ant-Man, he’s confronted

Film Review: Re:Born (2016) by Yuji Shimomura

Yuji Shimomura has worked as a stunt co-ordinator on films such as “Shinobi: Heart under Blade” (2005) and “Flashpoint” (2007), as well as directing cinematics for the video game “Bayonetta” (2009). The influence of his earlier work in stunts is clear in this film, which features fast and frantic action sequences and is sure to appeal to fans of the martial-arts genre.

The film opens with a crack team of soldiers performing a military exercise in a large abandoned building. The group is tasked with taking down the “Ghost”, another soldier who is evading them. A problem soon becomes apparent when a third party appears in the building and begins brutally executing the soldiers one-by-one before disappearing into the shadows. We then meet a young girl, Sachi (Yura Kondo), living with her uncle Toshiro (Tak Sakaguchi), who manages a convenience store. It is clear that Toshiro has a dark and violent past.

The Hollywood Reporter has returned from the Quantum Realm bearing gifts – specifically, an exclusive peek at the official Lego set of Ant-Man and the Wasp.

Aptly titled “Quantum Realm Explorers,” Marvel has earmarked the $19.99 collection for a release on June 1st – Peyton Reed’s pint-sized sequel takes flight on July 6th – and it bundles together a miniature version of Ant-Man, the Wasp and the shrinkable vehicle they’ll be using in their search for Janet Van Dyne (Michelle Pfeiffer), the original Wasp who went subatomic during the height of the Cold War, much to the dismay of her husband, Hank Pym.

And so begins a quest to rescue Janet from the Quantum Realm, as Paul Rudd’s Scott Lang has previous experience in the field. He’ll need all the help he can get, of course, and below you’ll be able to take a closer look at the sequel’s Lego counterpart,

Power Season 5 Trailer: A Tale of Vengeance

The boys are back!

Power is poised to return on July 1st and it looks like the veteran drama will be picking up right where it left off. With Raina's death still weighing heavily on everyone, a very unlikely trio looks to exact revenge.

There doesn't seem to be much a of time jump this season, as we're shown a glimpse of Reina's funeral. And more of Ghost, Tommy, and Kanan working together. A surprise that revealed itself at the end of Power Season 4.

The three of them seem to be willing to put the past behind them in order to take down Dre, whom they feel played a role in Reina's death.

Tasha seems apprehensive about Kanan's involvement and that will be an interesting dynamic to watch throughout the season, as well as what role she plays in bringing those who wronged Reina to justice.

Elsewhere, Angela, as always,

Ant-Man 2 Lego Set Goes Into the Quantum Realm

Ant-Man 2 Lego Set Goes Into the Quantum Realm
Now that Avengers: Infinity War has hit theaters, fans are starting to look forward to the third and final Marvel Cinematic Universe movie to hit theaters this year, Ant-Man and the Wasp. Lego has unveiled a brand new set for this upcoming superhero adventure, which includes mini-figs of Ant-Man (Paul Rudd), The Wasp (Evangeline Lilly) and new villain Ghost (Hannah John-Kamen), while also essentially confirming that more exploration of the Quantum Realm will happen. The Lego set itself is called "Quantum Realm Explorers," while the vehicle in the set is simply called the Quantum Vehicle.

2015's Ant-Man first introduced the Quantum Realm, a new dimension where both space and time are irrelevant. Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) was the first to disccover the Quantum Realm, through his "Pym Particles," which turned him into the first Ant-Man, and his wife Janet Van Dyne, portrayed by Michelle Pfieffer in Ant-Man and the Wasp,

New Trailer For Ant-Man And The Wasp Name-Drops Goliath

While Avengers: Infinity War irrefutably redefined the Marvel team-up movie late last month, the Powers That Be are about to go all-in on their second ensemble pic of 2018: Ant-Man and the Wasp.

Headed up by Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lilly as the titular, crime-fighting duo, Peyton Reed’s upcoming sequel places our heroes on a collision course with Ghost, the elusive supervillain to be played by the so-hot-right-now Hannah John-Kamen.

She’s not the only big-name addition to the fold, of course, as Ant-Man and the Wasp also features Laurence Fishburne as Dr. Bill Foster, an incredibly intelligent lab assistant and future heir to the mantle of Giant-Man. In saying that, Foster can only grow to 21 feet, based on today’s newly-unveiled trailer, whereas the boastful Scott Lang can be seen towering over San Francisco Bay at 65 feet.

Is this a sure-fire sign that Goliath will get in on the action?

This Trailer Explains Why Ant-Man Isn't in Avengers: Infinity War

This Trailer Explains Why Ant-Man Isn't in Avengers: Infinity War
Ant-Man was noticeably M.I.A. in Avengers: Infinity War. As was explained in the movie, Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) was put on house arrest after the events of 2016's Captain America: Civil War—meaning he didn't join the Avengers, Doctor Strange, the Guardians of the Galaxy and the people of Wakanda in their fight against Thanos, who set out to find all six Infinity Stones and bring "balance" to the universe...through, uh, genocide. (Yikes.) Marvel Studios released a new trailer for Ant-Man and the Wasp Tuesday morning. Although it makes zero mention of the events in "the most ambitious crossover event in history," it does offer fans a look at what Ant-Man has been up to instead. After Ghost...

Ant-Man and the Wasp Trailer #2 Unleashes a Crazy New Villain

Marvel Studios announced yesterday that we were all going to soon get a better look at Ant-Man and the Wasp, and they weren't kidding around. The new trailer has dropped and it's even better than the first trailer that was released earlier this year. Ant-Man 2 will be the third and final Marvel movie to be released in 2018, with Captain Marvel launching into theaters early next year. Both movies take place before the events of Infinity War, which has now been officially confirmed.

The tone of the Ant-Man 2 trailer is lighthearted and far less serious than the events of Infinity War, which just came out this past weekend. It appears that the sequel will be somewhat of a palette cleanser for the Marvel Cinematic Universe after all of the recent doom and gloom, and the brand-new trailer reflects that. We are also introduced to the movie's crazy new villain Ghost, played by Hannah John-Kamen.

New Ant-man And The Wasp Footage Screened Showed Lots of New Footage Including The Ghost in Action!

During Disney's big presentation at CinemaCon, Marvel showed off a new trailer for Ant-Man and The Wasp that was loaded with all kinds of cool new footage! The trailer put a big focus on Evangeline Lilly's The Wasp and there are some incredibly fun action sequences that involve her. The footage also offered us our first footage of Laurence Fishburne and Walton Goggins. We also finally got to see Ghost's powers in action!

I absolutely loved the humor of this Marvel franchise, they have a lot of fun doing really absurd things and the visuals are what make them so great! One of the first things we see in the footage is Paul Rudd's Ant-Man in his Giant-Man form riding on the back of a truck next to Walton Goggins' villainous character Sonny Burch. Ant-Man is hitting the side of the truck, but things are going the way he had hoped,

New plot details emerge for Ant-Man and the Wasp

  • HeyUGuys
The release of the follow-up to Peyton Reed’s 2015 Ant-Man, Ant-Man and the Wasp is now only three months away but details surrounding the plot has, until now, been a bit vague. Finally, thanks to the film’s star, Evangeline Lilly – who plays Hope van Dyne – and Reed, further details have arisen.

What we do know so far, is that the sequel will follow on from Captain America: Civil War with Paul Rudd’s Scott Lang trying to come to grips with his new role as Ant-Man. Speaking with Entertainment Weekly, Lily has opened up and revealed how the sequel links with the first outing.

“Scott entered the Quantum Realm in the first film and came back, which is something they thought was impossible. The question has arisen ‘Can Janet come back?’ So the entire film, my character is hell-bent on finding a way to get into the Quantum Realm and bring her back.

EW’s All-New Photos For Ant-Man And The Wasp Prove Heroes Come In All Shapes And Sizes

Spare a thought for Ant-Man and the Wasp.

As we stand on the precipice, staring down at the cinematic monstrosity that is Avengers: Infinity War, Peyton Reed’s sequel has been utterly dwarfed by Avengers 3 and its suitably massive, all-consuming marketing blitz.

But that doesn’t necessarily mean that Ant-Man and the Wasp has been pushed to the wayside, as Entertainment Weekly has returned from the Quantum Realm bearing gifts – specifically, two all-new actions shots from Scott Lang’s next solo outing, along with some story intel about what that adventure entails.

In accordance with previous reports, Ant-Man and the Wasp largely centers on the duo’s quest to recover Janet van Dyne (Michelle Pfeiffer) from the clutches of death. On board for that sweeping adventure is Evangeline Lilly as the newly-anointed Wasp, who offered some story intel while chatting to EW:

Scott entered the Quantum Realm in the first film and came back,

Book-a-Day 2018 #100: The Ghost in the Shell by Masamune Shirow

  • Comicmix
People will tell you that The Ghost in the Shell is a single story, about a cyborg cop in a complex future Japan and her pursuit of a mysterious AI called The Puppeteer. They are lying to you.

Oh, that thread is here, and the very last installment here sees the conclusion of that story. It’s a plausible lie, like all the best ones.

But Ghost in the Shell is three hundred and fifty pages of comics, across eleven long chapters, and most of those chapters are individual episodes of our heroine murdering lots of people because the government tells her to. Puppeteer comes in during one of those murder sprees earlier in the book, and then returns in the aftermath of yet another kill-that-guy mission for something like an ending.

There is a lot of pseudo-philosophical talk about brains and bodies, and a whole lot of skiffy bafflegab

Brie Larson Prepares For Some Stunts In New Captain Marvel Set Pics

There’s never quite been a hero in the McU like Carol Danvers – she’s Captain Marvel, for crying out loud!

Imbued with superhuman strength, speed and flight thanks to a near-death accident, Brie Larson’s former Air Force pilot promises to bring something truly special to the lineup of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes – think old-school Captain America mixed with “sassy, smartass” humor – when she’s seen alongside the ensemble cast of Avengers 4 early next year.

Before then, however, Larson faces the tricky task of shouldering her own standalone superhero movie. We’re fairly confident that she’ll be able to accomplish the job with aplomb – she’s a tremendously talented actress, after all – but until we get an official look at her in action, all we’ve really got to go on are set pics. Thankfully, then, there’s been plenty of them, with the latest batch arriving today
