The Babysitter Trailer Has Robbie Amell and Bella Thorne Going for Horror

The Babysitter Trailer Has Robbie Amell and Bella Thorne Going for Horror
A satanic cult plays spin the bottle in the first trailer for Netflix's The Babysitter, which is set to premiere on Friday, October 13th. The Netflix original horror comedy is directed by McG (Charlie's Angels) and is his first movie since 2014's 3 Days to Kill. The high school horror comedy looks completely absurd and like a lot of fun. And though The Babysitter is technically a horror movie, it looks like it'll really be a McG movie at heart, with a tongue-in-cheek concept, a well-known soundtrack, and a pretty cast.

The high-school comedy-horror film revolves around a nerdy 12-year old boy, Cole (Judah Lewis), who is in love with his babysitter, Bee (Samara Weaving). When Cole stays up late to spy on Bee and her friends who are in the middle of playing a hot-and-heavy game of spin-the-bottle, his eyes light up with excitement. Things get a little weirder from

'Rough Night' Review: Female 'Hangover' Never Finds Its Comedic Mojo

'Rough Night' Review: Female 'Hangover' Never Finds Its Comedic Mojo
Four women go wild at a Miami bachelorette party for their Bff Jess (Scarlett Johansson), an uptight candidate for state senator who has to work through some control issues. Good premise. It's club time for the ladies – Frankie (Ilana Glazer), a lesbian activist, and her former lover, real-estate diva Blair (Zoë Kravitz); Pippa (SNL Mvp Kate McKinnon), Jess's Aussie bud from her year abroad; and schoolteacher Alice (Jillian Bell), the college party animal who never reformed and still feels no shame over her rep as a "foot-job girl." Great cast.

Scarlett Johansson Throws a Killer Party in Rough Night Trailer #2

Scarlett Johansson Throws a Killer Party in Rough Night Trailer #2
Earlier this month, Sony Pictures released an age-restricted Rough Night red band trailer, which featured plenty of R-rated language, to get fans ready for the June 16 release. With the release date looming, the studio has released an all-ages green band trailer, which still highlights all of the lunacy experienced by these five female friends on a bachelorette party gone terribly awry, but without all of the naughty curse words. Still, if the red band trailer was any indication, this summer comedy won't be skimping on the foul language by any means.

This new green band trailer from Sony Pictures does offer some more insight into the longtime friendship between the five main characters, Jess (Scarlett Johansson), Alice (Jillian Bell), Frankie (Ilana Glazer) and Blair (Zo&#235 Kravitz), who all went to college together, along with Pippa (Kate McKinnon), who Jess met during her semester abroad in Australia. The trailer opens with scenes from their college days,

Scarlett Johansson Throws a Rager in Rough Night Red Band Trailer

Scarlett Johansson Throws a Rager in Rough Night Red Band Trailer
If you've ever wanted to see Scarlett Johansson do a bunch of drugs with some funny ladies and accidentally kill a male stripper, you'll probably want to watch this latest red band trailer for Rough Night. Instead of seeing Scarlett Johansson disposing of some bad guys as an Avenger, we are going to see her up to absolutely no good and be an accessory to murder in this R-rated comedy that looks like it could be the female version of The Hangover. Fair warning: this thing is very Nsfw, so if you're around small children or in an office, at least throw on some headphones.

Sony recently released this second trailer for Rough Night which paints pretty much the same picture as the first trailer did, but it is definitely a bit heavier on the raunchy stuff. By the looks of it, this movie will be blending elements from The Hangover,

Another Red Band Trailer for Girls' Night Party Comedy 'Rough Night'

"Can you handle the night?" Sony Pictures is ending the week with the second official red band trailer for Rough Night, a wild all-women comedy formerly known as Rock That Body, which is also the feature directorial debut of "Broad City" director Lucia Aniello. The film stars five women who get together for a wild bachelorette party - Scarlett Johansson (as the bride) along with Zoë Kravitz, Jillian Bell, Ilana Glazer, and Kate McKinnon. After deciding to get a stripper, they accidentally kill him and have to figure out what to do. I prefer this to the other all-women party comedy Girls Trip, it just seems funnier. Nice nod to Weekend at Bernie's in this, too. This actually looks like it might be funny enough to go see in theaters. Here's the second red band trailer (+ poster) for Lucia Aniello's Rough Night, direct from YouTube: You can also still

Rough Night Character Posters Introduce 5 Wild Ladies

Rough Night Character Posters Introduce 5 Wild Ladies
It was announced in June of 2015 that Sony closed the deal for an untitled raunchy comedy script by Lucia Aniello and Paul W. Downs. That untitled script was first called Rock That Body and is now officially titled Rough Night. Scarlett Johansson (The Avengers), Kate McKinon (Ghostbusters), Jillian Bell (Workaholics), Ilana Glazer (Broad City), and Zoe Kravitz (Big Little Lies) star in the comedy and today posters describing the traits of their characters were released.

Five Rough Night posters popped up online through Entertainment Weekly and each poster gives a glimpse into the role of the actress in the movie through text on a dirty, bloodied sash. "Better Off Wed" is written across Scarlett Johansson's sash with an American flag pin and miniature drink umbrella, Jillian Bell's sash reads "Lethally Horny" and contains blood spatter, the sash of Ilana Glazer shows a marijuana pin with the statement "Dope Af" along with some blood,

Don Calfa Has Passed Away

  • DailyDead
Some very sad news is circulating today, as it's been reported that Don Calfa has passed away at the age of 76.

Multiple sources, including The Hollywood Reporter, reveal that Calfa passed away at his residence in Yucca Valley, California.

For many horror fans, Calfa will forever be known as Ernie, the mortician who helped his friend Burt and a group of young punks take on an army of zombies in Dan O'Bannon's The Return of the Living Dead. In addition to his indelible dialogue, Calfa's believable role as Ernie grounded the film in reality—his reactions to the dead coming to life mirrored how many might have reacted in a similarly bizarre (and frightening) situation.

A go-to character actor, Calfa's film credits also included roles in The Postman Always Rings Twice, Weekend at Bernie's, Chopper Chicks in Zombietown, and Martin Scorsese's New York, New York, and he also

Don Calfa, the Mortician in 'The Return of the Living Dead,' Dies at 76

Don Calfa, a top-notch character actor who portrayed the embalmer Ernie Kaltenbrunner in the 1985 cult horror comedy The Return of the Living Dead, has died. He was 76.

Calfa died Thursday — two days before his birthday — at his home in Yucca Valley, Calif., actor-producer Mark Terry (Live Evil, Brother's Blood) told The Hollywood Reporter.

A native of Brooklyn, Calfa also portrayed Paulie, the hitman who murders Hamptons rich guy Bernie Lomax (Terry Kiser) by giving him a heroin overdose, in the classic comedy Weekend at Bernie's (1989).

Benedict Cumberbatch Rocks Booty Shorts and Makes Out With a Dead Grandma on SNL

For all of the "Cumberb*tches" out there who have been eagerly anticipating Benedict Cumberbatch's first time hosting an episode of Saturday Night Live, his "Surprise Bachelorette" sketch definitely doesn't disappoint. In it, the Doctor Strange actor and new cast member Mikey Day play dim-witted strippers hired to give a soon-to-be-wed grandmother (Aidy Bryant) the night of her life. The only problem? She has a heart attack when the festivities start, so the rest plays out like a very Nsfw version of Weekend at Bernie's. Between Cumberbatch humping Bryant's head (in a pair of very tiny denim shorts, Fyi) and giving her a very graphic kiss, it's a lot to take in. A trio of Chicago Cubs players also make an appearance, so check it out, or feel free to just watch the Gif below for all eternity: Related:Watch Benedict Cumberbatch Completely Lose It During This Skit With Jimmy Fallon

Scarlett Johansson's Next Comedy Outing Will Fight Michael Bay's Transformers

Scarlett Johansson's Next Comedy Outing Will Fight Michael Bay's Transformers
Scarlett Johansson is certainly more well-known for being an action star than anything else, but she's set to lead the cast of some very funny women soon for Sony in Rock That Body. Besides Johansson, it boasts Ghostbusters' Kate McKinnon, Broad City's Ilana Glazer, and Workaholics's Jillian Bell. And we've just found out they'll be going up against the Transformers. The previously named Move That Body is now Rock That Body and Broad City's Lucia Aniello is set to direct with a script by Aniello and Paul W. Downs (who will also be in the film). The screenplay was on the 2015 Black List and feels like a little bit The Hangover and a little bit Weekend at Bernie's if you ask me. Deadline writes, "The raunchy comedy follows a group of friends whose wild bachelorette party goes so far off the rails, that a male stripper turns up dead.

Kate McKinnon and Jillian Bell Join ScarJo's R-Rated Comedy Move That Body

Back in December, we wrote about how Scarlett Johansson will be starring in a female-centric R-rated comedy called Move That Body that's been described as The Hangover mixed with Weekend at Bernie's. Now she's gained some hilarious co-stars, as THR reports that Kate McKinnon, Jillian Bell, and Ilana Glazer have joined ScarJo and Zoe Kravitz in the new movie.

The script centers on five friends who get a beach house in Miami for a wild bachelorette weekend that goes completely off the rails when they accidentally kill a male stripper, and they have to deal with the fallout.

McKinnon is one of the most consistently funny performers on SNL and stands to break out on the big screen in the new Ghostbusters movie. Bell has been turning in strong supporting performances for a little while now, including solid work in The Night Before and 22 Jump Street. Glazer is one of

'Game of Thrones' Season 6 Premiere Recap: Jon Snow Is Still Dead, Melisandre Is Old News

Well, seven hells. It has been 10 months since Jon Snow died in the "Game of Thrones" Season 5 finale, but our watch has not ended. Thanks to "The Red Woman" -- the title of the surprising, but not completely satisfying Season 6 premiere -- it has only just begun. As of now, the late Lord Commander is still a Weekend at Bernie's corpse being protected by his friends. (Bless you, Ser Davos.) But the episode ended with Melisandre stripping (again), poised for some kind of action. However, is that action ending her own life? Or does she do that little necklace removal ritual every night before bed?

We learned a lot more about The Red Woman this hour. As it happens, she's not quite as hot as she seems. And she's older than she looks. (Maybe it's Maybelline?)

Looks can kill. It is known. (lol) #GameOfThrones pic.twitter.com/RyW96rbJAW

Opening Shot of 'Game of Thrones' Season 6 Premiere Revealed

How thirsty are you for the start of "Game of Thrones" Season 6? It's coming in just a few days, but if you're drinking in every new bit of intel you may want to check out HBO's final promo before Sunday's April 24 premiere episode, "The Red Woman."

As you'll see, most of the footage is recycled. However, Entertainment Weekly -- whose critic got to see the premiere in advance, lucky sod -- added this intriguing detail:

"A little insider nugget: That very first shot in the trailer that arcs down on pre-dawn Castle Black? That's the very first shot of Sunday's premiere..."

Sounds like confirmation that the first storyline we'll follow in Season 6 will be at The Wall, even if it's not directly picking up from the final shot of the Season 5 finale -- Lord Commander Jon Snow lying dead (yes, Dead) in a pool of blood at Castle Black, after

Scarlett Johansson To "Move That Body"

Scarlett Johansson is in negotiations to star in the R-rated comedy "Move That Body" for Sony Pictures.

The story follows five friends who rent a beach house in Miami for a bachelorette weekend and accidentally kill a male stripper. The project is described as "The Hangover" meets "Weekend At Bernie's".

Sony won a bidding battle for the film's script by "Broad City" duo Lucia Aniello and Paul W Downs, a script which just made this year's Black List. Aniello is attached to direct and Downs is set to co-star.

Htgawm Recap: Annalise Tells the Truth
Y'all, I'm going to say is this: Last night's episode of How to Get Away With Murder basically scalped me like I was Lucy Liu's character in Kill Bill Vol. 1. Yep, I have no damn scalp, and I barely have a damn life right now. And the reason for that is because, as per usual, Htgawm spends the first 53.7 minutes of the episode being Bernie from Weekend at Bernie's chill, and then the final 6.3 minutes are nothing but plot twists and big reveals that have me reaching for my Life Alert button like I'm an elderly woman who's fallen and can't get up because my bones are brittle after not eating Boniva chewables for three weeks. In all seriousness, I spent a solid 30 minutes on my couch after "Two Birds, One Millstone," replaying the episode, and I still don't know what's going on! I mean, last

Watch Our Exclusive 'Weeknd at Bernie's' Supercut
Rolling Stone cover star The Weeknd (aka Abel Tesfaye) is a Toronto-based R&B sensation whose latest album, Beauty Behind the Madness, is currently tearing up the charts.

Weekend at Bernie's is a 1989 romp about two entry-level insurance agents who spend a wild and crazy Hamptons weekend parading around their boss' fresh corpse and pretending that he's still alive.

On the surface, these two things may not seem to have much in common, but dig a little deeper and the truths are as hard to ignore as the dead body of a crooked CEO.
