Daryl Hannah’s feature directorial debut is set to make its world premiere at SXSW in just over a week, and the pic has already found a home. Deadline reports that
Netflix has snagged global rights to “
Paradox,” described as a “fantasy, a loud poem, and a free-spirited tale of music and love” starring
Neil Young. Scheduled to hit the streamer March 23, the project will also receive a limited theatrical release.
“Paradox” centers on “a band of outlaws hiding high up in the Mountains,” the source details. “‘The Man in the Black Hat’ (Young), the ‘Particle Kid’ (
Micah Nelson), and ‘Jail Time’ (
Lukas Nelson) pass the hours searching for treasure while they wait for the full moon to lend its magic, bring the music, and make the spirits fly.” Hannah penned the script.
The film features original music by Young + Promise of the Real, and its soundtrack will drop
