- Crazy creditsWhile the end credits are rolling, the house band does one more number.
- Alternate versionsThe UK cinema version was intact, although the video release was cut by 10 seconds by the BBFC to remove a knee kick, a double ear-clap and a groin punch. Dialogue about felling enemies by kicking them in the knee was also removed. The cuts were waived in 2001 for the DVD release.

An Entertaining Masterpiece
Road House is not only my favorite Patrick Swayze film, but it is one of my favorite films of all time. It truly is a classic, it's also my favorite film of 1989, and still holds up 30 years later.
The film is about a bar bouncer, Dalton (played by Patrick Swayze) who is hired to tame a very rough and tough bar, The Double Deuce. There is then a guy named Brad Wesley (played by Ben Gazarra) that wants to sell out the bar, and he sends his men to take out Dalton. Dalton now must do everything he can to fight back, along with his partner Wade Garrett (played by Sam Elliott) and must protect his love interest Elizabeth (played by Kelly Lynch).
What I truly love about this film the most is the action. The action scenes are top notch, and it's like Swayze trained very hard to become very tough for his role.
The acting is very good. Swayze was so astounding that words can't describe it. Gazarra's character is a real unlikable jerk, but he does a great job at playing that. Sam Elliott was also pretty cool as Dalton's sidekick, and was just as tough when it came to the action scenes.
The only little tiny issue was Kelly Lynch's character. She was unlikable for a little bit of the movie, but wasn't a hateful character either.
Other than that, Road House also has a great and straightforward plot, it runs in a fast pace, and is just such a cult classic that many people still remember and love to this day. I highly recommend if you haven't watched it.
