A few months after the film was released , producer F.C.Mehra had a celebration party. At the party, Shakti Kapoor got drunk. He started to berate F.C.Mehra for not signing him for Shikari. On the way back to the hotel a drunk Shakti got a ride with Shammi Kapoor.. In the car Shakti continued his drunk tirade. He started to belittle Shammi Kapoor by saying he was poorer than Shakti. Shammi pulled over the car and started beating the daylights out of Shakti. It was only until Shammi' s wife pleaded with Shammi to stop that the beating ended.
2nd hit of Umesh Mehra and Mithun Chakraborty in the same year 1989 after Guru.
Music of the film was very popular at that time.
Remake of Scarface.
Shatrughan Sinha movie Aatishbaaz was also a remake of Scarface.
