A decade after this film's release, Arnold Schwarzenegger would star in the 1999 supernatural thriller End of Days (1999) which in that film, Satan arrives in NYC in human form and seeks to impregnate 20 year old Christine York and give birth to his child, which must happen between 11PM and midnight on New Year's Eve. [after a ghost train runs through Winston]
I think that was the old New York Central "City of Albany"! Derailed in 1920! Killed hundreds of people! Did you catch the number on the locomotive?
Sorry. I missed it.

Two attempts by Louis to capture Slimer. The first involved several Kentucky Fried Chicken legs strung up to the fire house ceiling. Slimer comes out and grabs a leg, and Louis pushes the button for the trap. The light comes out, but Slimer floats out of the way and the ceiling collapses, falling on Louis' desk. The second attempt involves Louis carrying a proton pack and faking a pizza delivery (Oh, hello, Pizza Man! Oh, two larges! I only ordered one. Oh, pepperoni and pineapple. My absolute favorite. I guess I'll have to eat these both by myself.) Slimer floats down from the ceiling, and Louis tries to shoot him with the proton pack. Slimer flies away, and the beam flies towards Janine carrying a stack of files, who casually steps aside of the beam. See more »
Ghostbusters 2 is a fair sequel that finds the boys in grey five years later, not doing too good. Of course, it's not long before evil spirits pop up again in Manhattan and they're back doing what they do best. What makes this one work as well as the first is the relationship between the main characters. Bill Murray gets the great one liners again, and his scenes with Sigourney Weaver are just as goods as the first film. Dan Aykroyd and Harold Ramis provide enough silly techno jargon and odd references to slime and ghosts to keep you smiling. Still, you can't beat a 100 foot marshmallow man in Manhattan.
