It's about that you should to imagine about Alien (1979) set underwater, but with low budget. Since it has 5.2 rating on IMDb, I actually think it's truly underrated and good underwater film. I can see why a lot of people disliked it because they couldn't accept that the way it's a rip- off of Alien. But just because it's a rip-off doesn't mean this movie a bad. First off, I loved it even when the alien (or the monster) appeared in like 3-4 minutes. It has a great characters, the atmosphere, the editing, the setting. It has no much plot, but it was all that entertaining and just interesting film.
My rating: 8.5/10
