Ann Jillian was great! This comedy was one of my favorite sit-coms in th 80's - had it not been that the NBC network having to many hit shows that year, this show would have lasted. NBC just would not let this series develop. The series went off the air with a 27 share - why today that would be a #1 show for the week! I wish the series owners would bring all episodes in DVD - I'd buy the first copy! The acting was terrific. These were professional actors who knew how to do comedy - first rate. Anyone knowing anything about Ann Jillian's career knows that she did comedy with all the legends of comedy like Bob Hope, George Burns, Danny Thomas, Red Buttons, and Milton Berle to name some of the greats she worked with. This fine actress could also sing, dance and do drama. She received 3 EMMY nominations, and won a Golden Globe Award for best actress in her "The Ann Jillian Story" which was the #1 movie of the week in the 87-88 TV season. Thanks.
