- The geek Randolph Carter tells his college friends Howard Damon and Joel Manton the legend of The Unnamable. Two centuries ago, she killed her own father Joshua Winthrop and the house was locked closed and famed haunted. Joel decides to spend the night in the house to prove that the legend is fake. Meanwhile, the freshmen students Tanya Heller and Wendy Barnes are flirted by the seniors Bruce Weeks and John Babcock that invite them to go to the house with them to prepare pranks to the novice students that want to join the Alpha Fraternity. When Joel never returns home, Howard and Carter decide to seek him out in the house, and meet the other group.
