Jessica Simpson Is Unrecognizable in Her Danny DeVito Costume, and I Have Yet to Stop Laughing
Jessica Simpson brought the LOLs with her Halloween costume this year. The singer and footwear mogul teamed up with her husband, Eric Johnson, to re-create a movie poster from the 1988 buddy comedy Twins. Jessica was unrecognizable in a bald cap and suit as she struck the classic pose as Danny DeVito, while Eric sported a matching getup while channeling Arnold Schwarzenegger; in the film, the actors play fraternal twins who are separated at birth.

Eric and Jessica, who is pregnant with the couple's third child, are certainly not strangers to the funny costume game. Last year, they dressed as Waylon Jennings and Willie Nelson, and back in 2011, Jessica announced her first pregnancy with a clever "mummy" costume. See more of the best celebrity costumes here!

For DeVito, it was his first trip to the Spanish coastal city, one he said he was thrilled to make.

“This is such an honor. You guys are really famous all over the world and it’s a real honor to receive (the Donostia award),” he said to kick off his press conference ahead of the award ceremony, scoring points with the scores of local journalists who packed the press hall.

Hollywood Flashback: 1979's Camp Classic 'Meatballs' Made Bill Murray a Movie Star

Hollywood Flashback: 1979's Camp Classic 'Meatballs' Made Bill Murray a Movie Star
For a low-budget Canadian film about summer camp, 1979's Meatballs had quite the impact. At the time, the $1 million production was the country's highest-grossing film. Its $43 million in box office would be $150 million today, surpassed only by 1982's Porky's ($300 million today) and 2002's My Big Fat Greek Wedding ($336 million). It also made Bill Murray a star and established Ivan Reitman, who would later direct Ghostbusters, Twins and Kindergarten Cop.

Meatballs' plot centers on low-rent Camp North Star's head counselor Tripper Harrison (Murray), who revels in practical jokes, ups the self-esteem of downtrodden campers,...

The Legend of Conan screenwriter explains why his Unforgiven-style take isn’t happening

After his stint as Governor of California, Arnold Schwarzenegger revealed that he planned to revisit a number of his former glories in Terminator, Twins and Conan.

In the years following, the action icon has found himself onto his second stab at Terminator with production underway on the as-yet-untitled Terminator 6 (rebooting the series after 2015’s failed reboot Terminator Genisys), but it seems there’s been very little movement on both Triplets and The Legend of Conan.

Well, speaking to Collider this week, producer and screenwriter Chris Morgan has been discussing the latter, revealing that his “Unforgiven-style” take on the barbarian is no longer moving ahead, as well as teasing what he had in store for the movie.

“Conan will always have life in it, not for us unfortunately,” said Morgan. “We put together a great, great story –I’m the biggest fan of the [John] Milius Conan film, a lot of people

‘Killing Gunther’ DVD Review

Note: With the film finally hitting DVD, here’s a repost of our review of Killing Gunther from its VOD release back in March(!)

With a documentary crew in tow to record the process, hit man Blake (Taran Killam) leads a group of skilled assassins who have had enough of the world’s number one hitman Gunther (Arnold Schwarzenegger) and decide to do what they do best, kill him! Despite the combined talents of the team however, completing the kills turns out to be a harder than they had expected, as their plans turn into a series of bungled encounters with Gunther always seeming to be one step ahead.

Killing Gunther is a clever dark comedy from writer-director Taran Killam, which

‘Ocean’s 8': Which Movies Should Get the Female Reboot Treatment Next? (Photos)
Between “Ocean’s 8,” “Overboard,” a remake of “Dirty Rotten Scoundrels” called “The Hustle” and a follow-up to “What Women Want” called “What Men Want,” the surge of gender-swapped reboots in recent years is real. It’s a smart way of dusting off proven properties with a fresh point of view. And thankfully, there’s been an equal push to not just remake old movies with women but provide the right amount of diversity on screen in original properties as well. There’s still a long way to go though, and we polled the women of TheWrap to see what favorite films they’d like to see get gender-swapped next.

The Sting

If “Ocean’s 8” does well, “The Sting” would be the next ideal crime caper to remake. The Best Picture winning period drama has class and creativity that could be ideal for two female grifters. The key is just finding

Save the date for Danny DeVito Day

He’s starred in films such as One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, Jewel of the Nile, Twins and Batman Returns, the hit TV series Taxi, not to mention a Phil Collins video, so it’s safe to say that Danny DeVito is deserving of the latest honour bestowed upon him. His home state of New Jersey has just proclaimed November 17 ‘Danny DeVito Day’, in recognition of his services to the big screen.

The date also happens to be his birthday, and was announced by John Moor, Mayor of Asbury Park where the actor-director grew up. It was all part of the town’s Music and Film Festival last Saturday – what could be more fitting?

Although he went all Westside a long, long time ago in a (successful) bid to kickstart his career, DeVito has never forgotten his East Coast roots and has returned ‘home’ frequently, putting back into

What ‘Call Me by Your Name’ Would Look Like With Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny DeVito (Video)
What would “Call Me by Your Name” have looked like had Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny DeVito starred in the roles of Oliver and Elio? Funny or Die made a mashup — titled “Call Me by Your Twins” — of the 1988 comedy film “Twins” starring DeVito and Schwarzenegger with the Oscar-nominated film “Call Me by Your Name.” And it’s amazing. Michael Stuhlbarg’s beautiful monologue and conversation with Elio (played by Timothee Chalamet in the actual film) made it into the mashup, as did the famous peach and the dancing scene that went viral last year. Author: Matt Rodgers

Jcvd returns this week in Peter Malota‘s Kill ‘Em All, a fiery shoot ’em up which sees the man himself return to form as a one-man killing machine caught up in the crossfire between an international criminal gang and an increasingly desperate FBI investigation. It is a ridiculously fun throwback to the Van Damme days of glory with well suited henchmen being reworked internally by the the muscles from Brussels. A wonderfully-bearded Peter Stomare and another key 80s action star Maria Conchita Alonso (who partnered The Running Man and took the alien to task in Predator 2) join in the fun. Jamie Lee Curtis says Eliza Dushku opened up to her a few years ago about being allegedly molested by stunt coordinator Joel Kramer while filming True Lies when she was 12 years old.

In an essay published by the Huffington Post titled “Truth and Lies,” Curtis — who played Dushku’s mother in the 1994 film — said Dushku had previously “shared that story with me privately a few years ago. I was shocked and saddened then and still am today.”

“Eliza’s story has now awakened us from our denial slumber to a new, horrific reality. The abuse of children,” she added.

In an emotional Facebook post on Saturday, Eliza alleged that stunt coordinator Joel Kramer sexually molested her during the filming of 1994’s True Lies when she was just 12 years old — an incident that she claims she told her a handful of people about including her mother, but that no one, including herself, “seemed ready to confront taboo subject” at the time.
