where to get this film
8 November 2012 | by See all my reviews

where can i get a copy on D.V,D ,as i really enjoyed this play back in the day.you feel sympathy for the leading man nick savva. he is very strange in one way, as he is a gambling, self scented moron, but he also yearns for a way out of his gambling addiction. his best friend terry miller is his confidant and his conscience. for a bet he decides to offer oats of four to one, that within a month he will get the local tavern owners' daughter maria, to marry him. the bet is accepted by local business tycoon and gambler luger. a story of mis trust, infidelity and tragedy unfolds. after seeing this back in 1990, i yearned for the day to get it on DVD or download it online from the bbc's archives as it's always been embossed in my hert and in my mind. i love it! could somebody let me know how i may be able to get it!
