The Circus is Back in Town: Killer Klowns From Outer Space score will get the live-to-film treatment

It seems is a pretty good time for film music lovers in general; John Carpenter, Hans Zimmer and Danny Elfman got to tour with their work around the world last year, just to name a few of the film composers that are bringing their music to a live audience. But not only the most popular composers are doing the live route, we cult film enthusiasts will have a very special opportunity next month. To Celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the release of Killer Klowns From Outer Space, the film's composer John Massari will conduct his score for the Chiodo Bros. beloved film at The Montalban Theater, in Los Angeles, CA on May 19. Fascination with Killer Klowns From Outer Space began on screen in 1988,...

Killer Klowns From Outer Space 30th Anniversary Celebration in Los Angeles to Include Live Performances and Cast and Crew Q&A

This May will be the 30th anniversary of when viewers were first introduced to those cotton candy-loving visitors from above in Stephen Chiodo's Killer Klowns From Outer Space, and on May 19th in Los Angeles, the movie's three-decade mark will be celebrated in style at The Montalban Theatre.

Similar to a three-ring circus, the May 19th celebration will include multiple performance for attendees to enjoy, including fortune tellers, contortionist Bonnie Morgan (who played Samara in Rings), a Q&A with the cast and crew, and a screening of Killer Klowns From Outer Space with a live score accompaniment from The Hollywood Chamber Orchestra, conducted by composer John Massari.

‘Circus Kane’ VOD Review

Stars: Tim Abell, Jonathan Lipnicki, Mark Christopher Lawrence, Nicole Fox, Jonathan Nation, Mike Jerome Putnam, Scott Thomas Reynolds, Bill Voorhees, Ted Monte, Victoria Konefal | Written by Sean Sellars, James Cullen Bressack, Zack Ward | Directed by Christopher Douglas-Olen Ray

A reclusive circus master invites a group of social media stars to his house of haunts. Anyone who can make it out before being scared into submission will earn $250,000 – but they soon learn they are not only competing for money, but also fighting for their lives…

At the beginning of Circus Kane, circus master Balthazar Kane (Tim Abell) says “Nothing is for free. If it’s too good to be true it probably is”. This would have been good advice for a group of naive social media stars. Offered $250,00 if they can make it through a new haunted house attraction without being scared into submission, it really does seem too good to be true.

American Horror Story - Cult episode 2 review: Don't Be Afraid Of The Dark

Ron Hogan Sep 13, 2017

American Horror Story Cult plays on real fears and real politics mashed into a blender of creepy clowns and honeycomb. Spoilers...

Fortunately for Sarah Paulson, she has a much calmer week this week than she did during Election Night. Rather than screaming and breaking down multiple times, she only has a few crying jags. For most of the episode, rather than being completely irrational, she's more paranoid and anxious. Ally's fear turns inward, rather than outward, which allows Sarah Paulson to do more subtle work this week as a woman taken to the very fringes of her ability to withstand life. When there are dangers lurking in every shadow and your personal and professional life seem to be falling apart,

‘Tales from the Hood’ Welcomes You to Hell M*therf*ckers

Scream Factory brings an under-appreciated horror anthology to Collector’s Edition Blu-ray.

Great horror anthologies are hard to come by these days, but luckily there are still plenty to be rediscovered thanks to home video labels like Scream Factory. 1995’s Tales from the Hood is a highly entertaining blend of horror and social commentary from director Rusty Cundieff (who co-wrote alongside Darin Scott who also co-wrote an earlier horror anthology From a Whisper to a Scream), and it’s now found a new home on Blu-ray. Keep reading as we take a look at the film and new Collector’s Edition Blu-ray.

As with all the best anthology films Tales from the Hood features a wraparound tale (“Welcome to My Mortuary”) from which the individual stories are born, and the script couldn’t have chosen a better setting. Three gang-bangers come to a mortuary to pick up a shipment of drugs, and

It Trailer Has Real Clowns Very Angry

It Trailer Has Real Clowns Very Angry
Creepy clown sightings were all the rage last year. And because of that, it's sometimes hard to remember that a very small percentage of Americans make their living by performing as clowns at various children's parties and other functions. As if all the viral clown news wasn't enough to put the profession in a bad light, the first trailer for Stephen King's It adaptation arrived last month. It was a gigantic hit with fans, as it broke the 24 hour trailer view record. But it also didn't set well with those who spent thousands of dollars attending clown college. And now some clowns are calling foul on the footage, and the movie itself.

Stephen King's It will arrive in theaters this September, with little to no competition at the box office. It's guaranteed to be a massive hit. And it's also guaranteed to do for clowns what Jaws did for sharks
