Daria: Something tells me there's more in this jungle than meets the eye.
[Tisa watches as Daria struggles against her chains]
Tisa: I know it can't be done.
[Daria finally breaks her chains]
Tisa: [amazed] I'm just glad that you didn't know it.
Tisa: [Upon entering a spacecraft] Where's the ignition on this one?
Daria: It's voice activated.
Tisa: Well, that shouldn't be a problem for you.
Rik: You'll regret this!
Zed: Not a particularly original response, but I'm sure it is a sincere expression of your fears.
Daria: I have a strangest feeling that the normal laws of time and space no longer apply.
Vak: What are you doing here?
Krel: Watching her.
Vak: I think you should be guarding the house
Krel: You think? You've never thought for your entire existence.
Vak: You are insulting.
Krel: You are correct.
Tisa: [about to make escape in spacecraft, checking out controls with co-pilot Darla] Well, if it's all the same to you, I'd rather not run out of power between worlds, as they say.
Daria: I'd love to punch a hole in the wall of this mother-ship if I could, but I'm not sure if we've got enough of a running start.
[got to get the spaceship going]
Daria: We need a special glove to access this computer.
Tisa: Try the glove compartment.
Daria: Oh, you're cute!
[but finds what she's looking for, scoffs]
Daria: Give these magic fingers another second, and I'll have this puppy programmed.
[flicks switches on instrument panel]
Tisa: You're brilliant.
Daria: Dazzling. People have to wear sunglasses.
[pushes more buttons]
Daria: There! That should do the trick.
Daria: [as reunited girlfriends hug] I thought I'd lost you!
Tisa: No such luck.
Daria: I guess we're still stuck with each other.
Tisa: I was afraid you didn't make it.
Daria: I know the feeling.
Tisa: How do you like my new outfit?
[shows off black ruffled dress]
Daria: [sighs] Our host seems to be ready for anything.
Tisa: He didn't say a word about the way I was dressed. It must have occurred to him I'm a shade shabby to own a starship.
Daria: [in bikini] Oh, I'm not exactly the height of fashion myself.
Tisa: [to Zed] Good night. It was a pleasure to be rescued by you,
Tisa: [to the robot, as she comes down the stairs, barely dressed] What a delicious day it is. Just perfect for a morning swim. Won't you come with me? Zed says the jungle is just full of danger, and I'd feel a whole lot safer with a big, strong android like you along to protect me.
[holds out her hand]
Tisa: Of course, I, uh,
[looks down at her frilly underwear]
Tisa: haven't got a swimsuit, but I'm sure you wouldn't mind.
Daria: Wish us luck!
Rik: We'll need it.
Tisa: Hurry back! If you two get yourselves killed out there, you'll have me to answer to.
Zed: [to the three chained girls] I have my own special philosophy, consistent with my unique lifestyle. I've always felt that the... best of life lies closest to death... living on the edge... that's where you find the thrill of life.
Daria: I couldn't agree with you less. The best of life lies as far from death as possible.
Zed: In the end, no one wins the game of life.
Daria: Yes. But I prefer to lose as slowly as I can.
Zed: You'll have your chance... to pit your philosophy against mine... in a contest of skills played on the chessboard of my private planet.
Zed: I intend to hunt you.
Shala: You can't be serious! You're not gonna hunt women, are you?
Zed: I've always found the female of the species to be the greatest challenge. Far more crafty and cunning than their make counterparts. They're devious. Unpredictable. Full of surprises. Wonderful surprises.
Daria: [snarling] I'll do my best to keep you guessing!
Zed: I'm going to release the three of you simultaneously. I'm going to give you hunting knives and an hour head-start. There's a temple on the far side of my island containing high-powered laser weapons,
Zed: and if you can make it that far, those weapons will give you more than a fighting chance. Here's a map with directions... to the temple.
[sticks it into Darla's bikini top]
Zed: Any last plea for compassion?
Tisa: You can't do this. Life is too precious to be killed for sport.
Zed: It's a cold cosmos.
Tisa: Is there any guarantee this temple even exists?
Daria: What have we got to lose? Don't answer that!
Tisa: Did you ever dream life would turn out like this?
Daria: Never in a million years.
Tisa: A million years. I'd be thankful if we survive until dawn.
Daria: Are you all right? I've had nightmares that weren't as scary as this.
