Sex & Nudity

  • Nothing more severe than the first film, but more references.
  • A man flirts with an underage girl. She storms off in fear and anger.
  • A boy and girl quick kiss on school.
  • A girl asks to be unzipped, and we see her breasts for a short amount of time.
  • Halfway through the movie, an underage boy follows an adult nurse into a room. She strips down nude, wearing only a thong. She then climbs on top of the child and starts grinding on & kissing him. Breasts fully visible. Can be easily skipped the moment you see a boy & nurse enter a room. Lasts a few minutes.

Violence & Gore

  • Freddy slashes a teenage girl's wrist. Blood is seen splattering onto a mirror. Her mother walks into the room, to reveal that she's holding a razor blade, making it appear as if it was suicide attempt.
  • A teenage girl is seen burning her hand with a cigarette butt to stay awake.
  • Freddy stabs a teenage boy in the chest in silhouette. Brief and not graphic.
  • Kristen runs into a room with skeletons inside.
  • A teenager's head is smashed through a TV, no blood. Not graphic.
  • A young teenager is beaten by Freddy Krueger.
  • A teenager's arm has scars open up like mouths, which open and close.
  • Freddy turns into a tv (not explicit).
  • A teenage boy has blood vessels ripped out of his arms and legs, before being manipulated like a puppet by Freddy. He leads him to the top of a building and cuts the tendons, sending him falling to his death.
  • Freddy is hit with a box, causing him to turn into a box.
  • A young teenager is tied up with Freddy's tongues. He is unharmed, Freddy disappears. Very funny.

Profanity

  • Scattered uses of the word "fuck" and some milder profanity (i.e. "damn", "bastard", "bitch").

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • A character has a history with drugs
  • An experimental drug is used to help people sleep without dreams. Brief, like 10 seconds.
  • A psychiatric hospital orderly tries to get a recovering teenage drug addict to join him in doing drugs.
  • Someone drinks at a bar, very brief .
  • Nancy's father is seemingly drunk in some scenes.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The entire film is fairly dark, but more comical. Still fairly violent however
  • There are many weird dream-images throughout this film, such as strange monsters and living objects. Freddy's face may scare some viewers.

Sex & Nudity

  • An old nun claims to have been raped "hundreds of times" while trapped in an asylum.
  • A teenager has a crush on a nurse. He follows her into a room, and she allows him. She asks him if she can take her clothes off which he does. After that we see her in nothing but a thong. She then sits him onto a bed and she climbs on top of him. She then starts kissing him. Her bare breasts, back, and legs are visible. This was really Freddy Krueger in disguise, which the boy figures out when the women's tongue goes into his mouth, but it extends a very long length then the women turns into Freddy.

Violence & Gore

  • Teen suicide is a somewhat of a subject in the film. Many of the hospital staff believe that the teen victims committed suicide when in reality its Freddy Krueger who killed them in their sleep.
  • Freddy, in the form of a giant snake, attempts to eat a teenager, before a woman stops him . Not explicit.
  • Freddy is thrown onto a wall , almost no blood. This is the scene when freddy dies
  • Freddy comes onscreen to appear as an illusion as Nancy's father and after Nancy hugs him, Freddy comes out of the illusion and stabs Nancy in her abdomen.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Freddy might disturb some viewers due of his face.
  • The main character of the film is killed. Not gory or graphic.
