Trivia

The Marines commanding officers is named "Wild Bill". He has a similar look to the G.I. Joe character of the same code name. He even wears a similar style hat as the G.I. Joe character when they storm The Lions compound. Due to Wil Bill looking like a G.I. Joe character it would explain the look of the rest of the strike team not wearing matching clothing as a nod to G.I. Joe which was popular when the film was made. See more »

Goofs

When Tojo Ken fights his men to show his skills, he kills one by throwing a knife into his neck immediately after stabbing a ninja in the gut with the same knife. If observed, it is obvious that in the pan from the first ninja to the second during the throwing of the knife, there is no knife being thrown (just a fast pan to misdirect), and the ninja that the camera cuts to already has the knife prop attached to his neck. As in earlier scenes, sound effects are used to give the illusion of a "landing." See more »

Cheap and cheerful Ninja fun!.
24 August 2002 | by baradaSee all my reviews

Don't go into this expecting a Steven Seagal or Van Damme type movie. This was made when the Ninja was big on the small screen. I've seen countless Videos of Ninja movies, but this one, with Ninja III:The Domination, stuck in the mind.

Looking back on it, this movie somewhat tacky now but it's about entertainment more than anything. The story is feeble, but you want to see this for the action above anything else.

Steve James is about the only one in the film that acts really, I really can't see how he never made top billing around all the cardboard actors on screen. I saw this movie many years ago and thought it was an excellent movie back in my "Ninja phase", it's bad in places and fun in others. Don't go into this with a straight face, try and enjoy it as a fun "straight to video" movie.
