Storyline

In this sitcom, Ben Coleman was a mystery writer while his girlfriend Laura Kelly was a caterer with her younger sister Jane. Richard and Linda Phillips were a high-powered yuppie couple; he was in the family patio-furniture business and she was a studio executive. Linda's employer at World Wide Studios was Cooper Hayden, who eventually became infatuated with Jane. Geneva was the Phillips' wisecracking, sexy maid who sometimes fraternized with the sisters. Richard later quit his job to become a professional pianist, while Linda lost her job at World Wide Studios. Written by Anonymous

Good show ... for as long as it lasted
1 August 2003 | by jmatrixrenegadeSee all my reviews

Charming show that lost it's way ... it's idea is to tell the story of a couple from the time they meet, start their relationship, and so forth. The two leads were cute, the supporting cast amusing sidekicks, and it was overall an enjoyable little show. I don't quite recall, but perhaps the writing went downhill when their relationship reached a certain point before the "Mad About You" stage, or perhaps just the ratings. Either way, it was revamped as "Open House," an inferior product and soon was gone.

It was enjoyable for as long it lasted, all the same.
