Storyline

The movers and shakers in Singapore get involved in behind-the-scenes political and business activities, romantic entanglements, and murder. Nicol Williamson plays the wealthiest man in Southeast Asia. Barbara Hershey is his married antagonistic daughter who starts an affair with an ambitious American banker (Bruce Boxleitner) and who also seems to have the attention of her father. John Waters plays Hershey's totally despicable husband. Written by John Sacksteder <jsackste@bellsouth.net>

Garden of delights for Fans
18 September 2004 | by fedlawSee all my reviews

Good plot, scenery and memorable acting! Interplay between main characters was fascinating! The standout was Bruce Boxleitner as the business-savvy but emotionally-naive American in Singapore, fatally falling for a married woman with "business" plans of her own. Memorable scenes include his finding her hubby's stabbed body & then fleeing madly down crowed Singapore streets in an effort to escape. His naiveté and trust of the black widow doesn't leave until the near-final scene with her at the prison. For steam, Boxleitner & Hershey (or their body doubles?) sitting on the floor & undressing each other rivals the so-called "towel" scene. All in all, "Passion Flower" is a garden of delight for any Boxleitner fan, or anyone who enjoys a spicy suspense flick.
