When Sarah's stepmom is talking to Sarah's dad, the stepmom's mouth doesn't move according to the words she is saying.
Boom mic visible
The end of a boom microphone is clearly visible when they almost fall into the bog of stench.
Continuity
When arriving in the Bog of Eternal Stench via trapdoor, Sarah slides out of the tunnel in one shot, then two shots later slides out again.
During the "Chilly Down" song and dance, a few of the Fireys' voices switch between characters.
As Sarah runs down the first corridor of the labyrinth, the ribbons on her vest are tied, then hanging loose, then tied again.
When the Junk lady gives Sarah the statue of the princess in her room, stating that it's not junk, she hobbles over to her, but when it switches back to face the Junk lady, she's back in her original spot and the statue is still on the table.
When Jareth transforms from the beggar to himself he throws his costume behind himself to the left several moments later he again has the costume in his hands and he throws it behind himself to the right.
After the cleaners scene when Sarah and Hoggle climb out of the vase, the shadow of the sundial nearby is at 10, but when they are standing next to it a few seconds later it reads 8.
Sarah enters Toby's room when he is crying, picks up the stuffed bear and puts it on the bed next to the pillows. In the next shot the stuffed bear is not in the same place.
In Jareth's first song, he holds Toby, throws him upwards and leaves him for a goblin to catch. When Toby is in Jareth's hands he is with his face towards the camera. When in the air he turns around before being caught by the goblin - but his face remains towards the camera.
Jennifer Connelly's weight changes drastically throughout the course of the film. Comparing the ballroom sequence with the meeting of Hoggle (pond) her face is considerably plumper (cheeks). Also this is sometimes visible during scenes.
Early on, around when Sarah reluctantly sends Merlin into the garage, the hand in which she holds some of her dress in a bundle - changes between shots.
The knot which keeps Ludo hanging changes.
After Sarah takes Hoggle's jewelry, she shakes it at him, but when the old man appears, the jewels are tied around her waist, though she had no time to tie them.
While Sarah tells the Toby the story, she puts on a striped cap. The position of the cap on her head changes irregularly between shots.
During the fight with the guards, the gate leading into the city is open on one side. But when Ludo calls the rocks, the gate is suddenly closed again, and the rocks push on it from the outside.
When Sarah shows Hoggle the bracelet, she holds it in her thumb and pointer finger. When the camera angle changes showing the view from behind her, she dangles it on her suddenly extended pointer finger.
In the scene where Sarah is with the JunkWoman in her pretend room, the Junkwoman hands her her lipstick and tells her to make herself up with it. In the next shot we see Sarah with perfect red lipstick on, yet there didn't appear to be time for her to apply it.
In the Goblin City, a sign with a pair of scissors on it becomes alternately broken/fixed.
The position of the broken bits of cannon, after the rock falls on it.
Sarah throws stones to distract the Goblin corps from Ludo. She is hiding behind a hedge. When she picks the second stone, she steps back behind the hedge, but after a cut she stands in front of it and throws the stone.
We see Sarah take a bite of the "peach" Hoggle gives her. As the scene continues she clearly has nothing in her mouth, despite that we never see her chew or swallow the peach.
Crew or equipment visible
During the battle in the streets of the Goblin City, wires can be seen on nearly all of the evil knights on horseback.
Wires visible on Hoggle when he tries to throw the pilot out of the knight armor suit.
When Toby catches the crystal ball on the stairs in the Escher Room, you can see the wire clipped to his clothes to stop him from falling forward.
Wires can be seen suspending the ruins of the Escher room in Sarah and Jareth's final confrontation.
Miscellaneous
Hoggle states that if you were to get any of the Bog of Eternal Stench on you, you would smell bad forever. When the rocks roll into the swamp and rise to the surface to create a new walkway to replace the bridge that collapsed, their surfaces are still wet when Sarah and the rest cross over them. Their shoes or feet should have been forever tainted as a result.
Revealing mistakes
During the battle in the Goblin City, characters touch the spikes at numerous points, and they can be seen wobbling as if made out of foam or plastic.
When Sarah is chasing Toby and Jareth is rounding the corner up on the wall there is clearly a shadow showing the mechanism used to get him up there.
The wires connected to Sarah are visible as she falls down into the junkyard.
Flying wires visible on Sarah and Jareth near the end of the movie when the stairs are floating in the background.
In the Escher-style sequence at the end, when Jareth goes from underneath the walkway that Sarah is on, and turns up onto the top of the walkway, the hydraulic rod that propels him up there can visibly be seen in the shadow that is cast on the wall behind him.
In one shot during "Chilly Down", a Firey's hand becomes transparent.
When Sarah shatters the glass bubble, you can clearly see that she is suspended from wires.
At the gates of the goblin city, Didymus falls off his dog and as the dog runs away it brushes up against the spikes which wiggle back and forth.
When Jareth throws Toby in the air and the goblin catches him during the song "Dance Magic" it is clearly obvious that Toby is replaced with a baby doll.
Hooks visible on the glass bubbles, when they are first set free.
When bailing out of Humongous (the giant mechanical guard at the Goblin City,) the armor flexes very visibly as he jumps, revealing it to be foam rubber instead of metal.
When Hoggle urinates in the pond, the water settles instantly between shots.
During the battle in town, the summoned rocks that are supposed to roll from the left to right of the screen, has at least one rock that isn't rolling at all, showing it's being dragged by an unseen wire or rope of some sort.
When Sarah is just getting to the labyrinth, the background looks fake because the clouds are not moving.
