Sex & Nudity

  • PG for crude and sexual humor throughout, language, smoking, and comic violence
  • Moderate sex references through out.
  • Near the beginning of the movie, when Howard starts getting sucked into our dimension, we see a duck in the bath tub, paper-marché duck breasts are exposed.
  • When Howard gets a job at a hot tub center several couples are running around in skimpy swimsuits and are making out, but there is no "human" nudity. There is however several scenes with "duck" nudity, showing duck breasts, and oddly, nipples. In these scenes, the camera freezes on the breasts for a bit longer than it should, feeling awkward.
  • When Howard goes home with Beverly he falls asleep and Beverly looks through his wallet and finds a condom, shaped like an egg.
  • Beverly and Howard nearly have sex but then they are interrupted.

Violence & Gore

  • Moderate comic, fantasy science fiction violence through out. Some violence (such as small fights) but nothing too intense. One scene has a small bar fight. Threats with weapons throughout the movie.

  • Mild to moderate profanity is used on occasions. A few "Hell's" and "Damn's". "Piss Off" is used a couple of times.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Mild to moderate alcohol and smoking use on ocassions. A duck smokes cigars on occasions. There is some occasional scenes of people drinking in a bar.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • There are some moderately disturbing moments. The topless duck at the beginning may shock some viewers. Some of the creatures from space could be frightening to younger viewers.
