Trivia

JFK photograph appears on the shelf when Glenn Close first enters her soon to be client's home office. Perhaps a reference to Peter Coyote who organized a protest in 1961 with 12 students and got to meet JFK. See more »

Quotes

Thomas Krasny: He told you, didn't he? *He* told you! What did he do? Did he phone you? Send you anonymous notes?
Teddy Barnes: You'll stop at nothing, won't you? Anyone could've sent those notes; everyone knew - the police in Santa Cruz knew, people in your office knew!
Thomas Krasny: *Bullshit!* Don't you understand what he did? He did the *identical crime* eighteen months before he murdered his wife! He knew it would get him off the hook! He knew Bobby Slade was seeing his wife! That's why he did the first crime in Santa Cruz! He ...

Jagged Edge equals jagged movie
12 December 2006 | by jamiecostelo58See all my reviews

Intriguing movie mixes the high standards of ethics and forbidden love. I like Glenn Close, and she gives a powerful character reference as lawyer Teddy Barnes, and the 'did he or didn't he?' storyline is very intriguing. The 'jagged edge' role is interestingly portrayed by Jeff Bridges, and the movie details a sensational court case and the trials and tribulations of either believing in your morals or in your heart. But sometimes your heart rules your head, and maybe that's not a good thing....

Jagged Edge is a jagged movie, a little rough around the edges, but smoothing out to a reasonable sense of conclusion.
