Storyline

Have you ever thought of traveling through time, going forward or backward to any date? That's the intriguing question aviator and inventor Max Knickerbocker (Peter Coyote of E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial (1982)) asks Jonathan Knicks (Huckleberry Fox of Terms of Endearment (1983)). Max is unaware that Jonathan is his grandson, already an adventurous time traveller, thanks to a machine built by his neighbor, Henry Coogan (Academy Award winner Art Carney). Can Jonathan save his grandfather from a fatal solo flight across the Atlantic and alter the course of history? Written by Rick Brownlie <rick@cougar.multiline.com.au>

Although it seems to borrow heavily from "BACK TO THE FUTURE", this certainly qualifies as one of my all time favorite family films. Of course, I'm a fan of time travel stories anyway. Peter Coyote and Huckleberry Fox turn in a fine performance; as does Art Carney, who, prior to this, appeared in the awful "THE NIGHT THEY SAVED CHRISTMAS", one of my least all time favorite family films.

A worthy addition to anyone's video collection.
