Sex & Nudity

  • This is extremely tame on sex jokes. (Mostly jokes to Blanche. )
  • Mild sexual references in every episode. They are relatively tame for the most time, considering it's an 80's show.

Violence & Gore

Profanity

  • Mild language in most episodes, but it's mostly just hell and damn, with the occasional use of bitch.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Characters drink champagne.
  • One character drinks sherry and rum.
  • A character talks about drinking Chianti.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The episode, "Not Another Monday" deals with a woman wanting to commit suicide.
  • In the episode Room 7, Blanche attempts suicide to get demolished in her grandmother's house while being handcuffed
  • If turned into a movie definitely would be PG-13 for crude and sexual humor, thematic elements and for some strong language.
  • Arguing between characters can be intense and upsetting.
  • The episodes "Sick and Tired" and "72 Hours" may upset some viewers, because both have a small amount of thematic material in them (that being references to death)
  • Nothing very frightening is seen throughout the series.
