Storyline

Samantha's life is going downhill fast. The sixteen-year-old has a crush on the most popular boy in school, and the geekiest boy in school has a crush on her. Her sister's getting married, and with all the excitement the rest of her family forgets her birthday! Add all this to a pair of horrendously embarrassing grandparents, a foreign exchange student named Long Duk Dong, and we have the makings of a hilarious journey into young womanhood. Pleasantly Surprised
29 July 2018 | by cripdonovanSee all my reviews

Let me start by saying I would of probably never watched this movie but we have no cable right now. With that being said, my mom brought over her vhs collection and we've just been putting in each movie in the stack. I grew up in the 80's but I always assumed it was just a chick flick. Put in the vhs tape not expecting much but caught myself laughing at several parts. All of the characters are likable and each brings their own qualities to the film. All I can say is I'm pleasantly surprised. I liked it, not going to lie :)
