Did You Know?
Trivia | The distributors were initially not convinced by the cast: for example, by Virna Lisi, more used to dramatic roles, and by Christian De Sica, who wasn't yet a famous actor. De Sica declined a role in the historical comedy Il conte Tacchia (1982) to take part to this movie, thinking that it was the best role for him and that it could have launched his career. Goofs | The story is set in 1964, but most of the songs included in the soundtrack were released in 1966, 1967, and 1968. There is also a radio announcement about Felice Gimondi's victory at Tour De France, which happened in 1965, and the sudden news of the car-accident death of Italian singer/songwriter Fred Buscaglione, which had actually happened in winter 1960.
