Storyline

In this largely avant-garde feature film, Rex is the member of a group of underground revolutionaries with an unknown agenda who receive their orders from picking letters out of a bowl of alphabet soup. Rex and his companion Nixie travel across the country and change their names with each stage of the story (the stages are separated by a countdown of numbers from 10 to 0). They begin in New York City and strive to make it to Los Angeles. Their adventures, misadventures and often bizarre happenstances form the bulk of the narrative. Written by thustlebird

a very confusing movie
21 October 2004 | by orangevalerobSee all my reviews

i just watched this movie and it is the most nonsensical movie i have ever seen. it jumps around without any sense of direction. none of the characters are what could be termed normal people. they think and act in a very disjointed fashion. if there is an plot hidden somewhere in this movie, i failed to find it. it seems more like a hallucination than anything else. a hallucination that is not even very interesting. perhaps my lack of understanding of this film was due to the fact that i was sober when i watched it, but i doubt it. even under the influence of mind altering drugs i think this movie would still be unimaginably boring and nonsensical.
