Return to rockin' Rydell High for a whole new term! It's 1961, two years after the original Grease gang graduated, and there's a new crop of seniors - and new members of the coolest cliques on campus, the Pink Ladies and T-Birds. Michael Carrington is the new kid in school - but he's been branded a brainiac. Can he fix up an old motorcycle, don a leather jacket, avoid a rumble with the leader of the T-Birds, and win the heart of Pink Lady Stephanie Zinone? He's surely going to try!Written by
According to Maxwell Caulfield's stunt double Gary Davis, Michelle Pfeiffer performed her own stunts in the famous Lone Rider/Stephanie romantic motorcycle ride saying: "She sat behind me, then I lifted her around to where she straddled me, and then we wheelie'd away. At the end during the luau, when the bikers are falling into
the pool, Stephanie and Johnny are getting out of the unseen side of the pool. However after Michael takes off his helmet, Stephanie is just barely getting out and Johnny has yet to get off the boat. See more »
now i can understand all the bad comments about this film, the acting is bad, the editing and the continuity is awful, but for some reason i love it. its the one film that i know every single word off by heart.
The songs may not have an all time classic like "hopelessly devoted" like grease 1, but the vast majority of the songs are pretty strong and memorable.
It camp kitsch at its finest. and you'd be surprised just how many people out there love this film. on a certain social networking site, there thousands of us in appreciation groups, and they are a pretty mixed bunch (male - female - somewhere in between) not everyone it going to love this film, but its worth watching with an open mind!
