At the beginning of the film, Luke Williams is seen in a compartment of a loco hauled train. The shots of the train on the journey alternate between this train and an Intercity HST125 which always used open carriages which did not have compartments.
The train arrives at London Marylebone station - which at the time saw neither Intercity HST125s nor locomotive-hauled trains. In fact, the only trains going into and out of Marylebone were DMU (diesel multiple unit) services either to Aylesbury or to High Wycombe and Banbury, (although Marylebone now sees, at the time of writing, a regular service by Chiltern Railways to Birmingham and Warwickshire). It is likely that Marylebone was chosen because at the time of filming it had no Sunday train service (the only service was by London Underground into nearby Baker Street station) and so was free to be taken over for filming.
