Quotes

[first lines]
Narrator: It looks like a paradise, but it is in fact the most treacherous desert in the world... the Kalahari. After the short rainy season, there are many waterholes, and even rivers. But after a few weeks, the water sinks away into the deep Kalahari sand, the waterholes dry up, and the rivers stop flowing. The grass fades to a beautiful blond colour that offers excellent grazing. But for the next nine months there will be no water to drink, so most of the animals move away, leaving the ...

I loved this movie! I loved how, although it wasn't an 100% accurate depiction of a Kalahari bushman, kids who watch this can believe that it is. Peaceful, happy, considerate; living a utopia.

And can we say *funny*?! This film was hilarious!! I couldn't stop laughing at the slapstick performed by the lead actor(don't remember his name.), the bushman, and all the children.

But best of all (and I'm not some 35-year-old mother), is that people of *any* age, boy or girl can watch this.

It's a feel-good, funny, heartwarming story about love, friendship, and following your faith. See it when you can!!!
