Sex & Nudity

  • Several moderate sex references. These are undetailed, comic and mainly take the form of tongue-in-cheek innuendo (e.g. "Stick this in your fuse box!" from opening track Live Wire). None of it is threatening or intended to be taken seriously.
  • The Jack is about a venereal disease (gonorrhea). The only references to this within the lyrics are vague and infrequent - these are limited to the title (an Australian slang term) being repeated throughout the chorus and the singer's lover being "number 999 on the clinical list".
  • During the breakdown in "Bad Boy Boogie", lead guitarist Angus Young strips down to his shorts in time with the music and moons the crowd. Although highly sexual, the entire routine is comedic and played for laughs.
  • Brief buttock nudity - Angus moons the crowd as part of a comic striptease routine during Bad Boy Boogie.
  • During the aforementioned striptease routine, Angus puts his blazer between his legs and suggestively rubs the sleeve as if it's his penis. Played for laughs.

Violence & Gore

  • The Jack includes the line, "And I fell in love with the dirty little bitch".
  • Some moderate to strong language, but this is very infrequent.
  • Highway To Hell includes the line, "Nobody's gonna fuck me 'round".

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Band members are seen smoking and drinking alcohol during interviews and downtime.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • During an extended guitar solo in Rocker, lead guitarist Angus Young runs out of breath and leaves the stage - he puts on an oxygen mask which resuscitates him, before returning to the stage and carrying on as usual. This is mild and quickly resolved.
