Aside from his trademark Detroit Tigers cap, Magnum also wore a US Navy ball cap. The name and logo were those of VMO-2, a unit located at Da Nang Air Base, a US military complex located in Vietnam during the war. Why do I like this t.v. show? First of all Tom selleck is not an actor, he is Magnum P.I. (unforgettable the episode where is lost in the ocean and risked to be eaten by jaws) Second point: Higgins is a perfect characterization of british irony. Third: Hawaii. Fourth: Ferrari. Is that enough?
