I love this movie. The scenography does convey the shifting of perception between an adult's and a child's world in terms of size. It throws-in with no fear themes that are realistic and delicate, pertaining the child and the parents (among which alcohol abuse). Anna-lisa Erickson's presence as the grandmother is especially well-chosen. I have a feeling that artist Marie-Louise Ekman (at the time known as Marie-Louise De Geer Bergenstråhle) was inspired by both her role in Mannekäng i rött (1958) and her early formation as a ballet-dancer. This movie is an aesthetic delight, it gives happiness and I hope more people would see it and generate a criticism.
