Kingswood Country (1980–1984)
- Summaries (2)
Ted Bullpitt's most precious possession is his Kingswood Holden car. He objects when his son, or his son-in-law, wants to drive the car and keeps the keys hidden. He is also unimpressed with his daughter's choice of a husband. Ted's brother is a sales representative for Datsun cars - something else which incurs Ted's disgust, as he feels that his brother should only deal with Kingswood Holden cars.
Ted's punch lines have been remembered for a couple of generations now, and include such sayings as "somebody should blow up bus stops" and "leave your money on the fridge", and if asked to borrow the kingswood would come up with a snappy answer like " not the Kingswood!, I've just ironed the mud flaps!.." And he would refere to his daughters greek husband Bruno as "Wog".. Funny man old Ted Bullpit
