An Israeli man, raised by a wealthy and powerful Arab, is put in charge of his country's vast oil fortunes. He comes into conflict with a fanatical terrorist group, headed by his daughter.
I saw this TV movie in two parts many, many years ago. Fantastic story, well acted by well known actors in those days.
I have been longing to see it again, but no where can a copy be obtained, so our only hope is that a streaming company takes it up with the copyright owners for streaming to the public. Perhaps this is CBS, who broadcast it in 1978.
The synopsis of this movie goes much further than the basic description and comprises drama, a thriller, action, romance and war, to satisfy any lover of a good story. It was made with an aspect ratio of 1.33:1, the old fashioned TV size, but this does not spoil the contents one little bit. Many old movies doing their rounds on streaming are the same size, mostly in black and white. This one, however, is in color. How about it Netflix?
