slice of a period
Vincentiu25 May 2013
a nice film. basis - a novel by Paul Georgescu about his father, doctor of a village. but it is not an adaptation. only a form of soft propaganda, not remarkable but out of common expectations. its success secret - the cast. Stefan Iordache and Victor Rebengiuc , two great Romanian actors are the pillars of this fragile construction. the second virtue - its role as mirror for a society in where the words are more important than facts. the silhouette of a good Samaritean and his ladder of sacrifices. the cold shadow of politic events. the exercise to build a fresco of a period. and the atmosphere who reminds events of our days. nothing special. only a little piece from a way to understand and present life.
