Storyline
Plot Summary |
It is a British comedy-adventure film set in 1920s London. The story revolves around a group of intrepid nannies who accidentally become involved in international espionage when they steal a dinosaur skeleton from the Natural History Museum. The nannies believe the dinosaur contains a secret microfilm that holds critical information, while a group of Chinese spies, led by the nefarious Hnup Wan, are also on the trail of the same microfilm. Chaos ensues as the nannies, led by the determined Hettie, go to extraordinary lengths to hide the enormous dinosaur skeleton from the spies, leading to a series of comedic misadventures through the streets of London. Eventually, the true location of the microfilm is revealed, and the nannies manage to outsmart the spies, returning the dinosaur to the museum and saving the day. |

Trivia | The Diplodocus skeleton prop from this film was used in the scene where C-3PO sees the Jawa transporter in the film Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope (1977), which was made at Elstree Studios. See more » |
Goofs | About 40 minutes into the film, in the location shot of the Chinese gang preparing to steal the dinosaur skeleton, you can clearly see St. Paul's Cathedral in the distance with two 1960s tower blocks (presumably the Barbican) on either side. See more » |
