Trivia

First film made by Fred Williamson's production company; 'Po' Boy Productions.' Mr. Williamson started the company in part to help level the playing field, for black actors (him, of course). Mr. Williamson had 3 rules for his character in any film he would be in; - To win any fight(s) - His character doesn't die - He would get the girl at the end He felt the best way to insure this, would be for him to control the film's production. One of the greatest films to emerge from the blaxploitation period. Breathtaking. Williamsons amazing direction prove he is one of the greatest auteurs in black american film history, if not the greatest of them all. A true shame his work is often overshadowed by "Shaft" and "Sweet Sweetbacks Baaadasss Song".
