Trivia | Dean Martin's final outing as Matt Helm was "The Wrecking Crew (1968)." The end of the film plugged the next planned film in the series, "The Ravagers" but when "The Wrecking Crew" actress Sharon Tate was killed by the Manson family, Martin was so disturbed that he quit the series and "The Ravagers" was never made. The TV Series, which appeared six years later, appeared long enough after the murder, that the public had largely forgotten about the event. See more » |
