Storyline

A man moves his family in the 1880s to Idaho and starts a pig ranch; an accident causes him to rely on his son to take the pigs to market. It is a race against a neighboring pig rancher, since the first one to arrive gets the best prices. While the boy loses the race, he wins a wager large enough to pay for an operation for his father.
