Plot Summary

Kulwant Rai's horse carriage runs over a child, and as a result, she loses her vision. Years later she grows up to be beautiful girl namely, Neelu (Mumtaz), and Kulwant Rai's son, Sameer (Dharmendra) takes a fancy to her. This fancy turns to love, and he proposes to marry her. This proposal does not auger well with his mother, Rani Maa Rai (Veena), who wants her son to marry Jugnu (Yogeeta Bali), who is the daughter of her Diwan (Iftekhar), and both Rani Maa and Jugnu pressure and humiliate Neelu so that she can leave Sameer. Sameer's attempts to get Neelu her vision take root when he meets with eye specialist Dr. J.P. Tandon (Shatrughan Sinha). When Jugnu finds out about this, she concocts a devious plan that will get Neelu out of her way forever. Written by rAjOo (gunwanti@hotmail.com)
