Included in Jerry Beck's 1994 book "The 50 Greatest Cartoons: As Selected by 1,000 Animation Professionals." It says that the significance of having Godzilla crush Bambi is that it represents the "low-art" Godzilla stomping all over the fancy, "high-art" Disney movies and that there were no longer rules and everything was up for grabs.

Included in the Rhino Home Video compilation "Bambi Meets Godzilla and Other Weird Cartoons" and the Slingshot DVD "Spike and Mike's Classic Festival of Animation". The latter video includes a sequel (not by Marv Newland) titled "Son of Bambi Meets Godzilla"
