Trivia

Terry Gilliam was the only American in the group, and although he appears occasionally on-screen, his roles were generally non-speaking or with few lines. Gilliam's primary contributions, the animated sequences that "linked" the various live sketches, were one of the the key components that set Flying Circus apart from its peers, and remain among the most memorable elements of the show. Mr Smoke-Too-Much: Yes, that's right. It's all due to a trauma I suffered when I was a "sbool" boy. I was attacked by a bat.
Bounder: A cat?

The Circus is On...

Monty Python's Flying Circus is a show with great comedy. It's so weird anything could be done in it. Like selling an albatross, or having a knight hit you with a chicken... It's so hilarious, you'll drop right off. It's a very classic show for people with British taste. The movies were good... but it never made a benchmark like the TV series did. People... get off trashy Saturday Night Live and try "Something Completely Different"!
